Inquiry NQ-2025-001 — Notice of termination of inquiry

On July 16, 2025, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) terminated the investigation concerning the dumping of the aforementioned products (see link above) on the basis that they were not dumped.

In light of the President’s conclusion that there were no dumped subject goods, the Tribunal terminates its inquiry respecting the dumping of the aforementioned products pursuant to subsection 42(4.1) of SIMA.

Notice of decision

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Rule 74 of the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) Rules of Procedure for Article 10.12 (Binational Panel Reviews), that the binational panel established to review the final affirmative antidumping determination made by the United States Department of Commerce, respecting “Certain Softwood Lumber Products from Canada,” issued its Decision and Order on July 21, 2025 (Secretariat File No.: USA-CDA-2020-10.12-02).

In the July 21, 2025, Decision and Order, the binational panel affirmed in part and remanded in part the United States Department of Commerce’s determination respecting “Certain Softwood Lumber Products from Canada.”

The binational panel instructed the United States Department of Commerce to provide its Decision on Remand by October 20, 2025.

The decision and order are available on the Trade Agreements Secretariat’s e-Filing registry (account required to access information).
