The Canada Gazette, Part II, Volume 159, Number 7 has published the changes to;

  1. Regulations Amending the Special Economic Measures (Burma) Regulations: SOR/2025-82 

Application Before Publication

For the purpose of paragraph 11(2)(a) of the Statutory Instruments Act, these Regulations apply according to their terms before they are published in the Canada Gazette.

Coming into Force

These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.

Application Before Publication

Amendment

Item 1 of the schedule to the Special Economic Measures Permit Authorization Order footnote1 is replaced by the following:

  • 1 Special Economic Measures (Myanmar) Regulations

Coming into Force

This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
