CARM Bulletin 5409 - Resolution of incorrect financial postings for some corrections and adjustments processed from August 3 to August 13, 2025

As per CARM Bulletin 5405, a system error led to incorrect financial postings for some corrections and adjustments processed between August 3 and August 13, 2025. The CBSA has corrected the majority of the affected transactions and the September Statement of Account (SOA) will show the correct balances. Importers are to pay their account balance by October 1, 2025.

For a small number of importers whose transactions were resolved after the issuance of the SOA, the CBSA has sent a notification via the CARM Client Portal (CCP), which can be found in the notification centre in the importer’s CCP account.

Importers who have questions regarding their affected transactions should review their SOA and their transaction history in the CCP. Should you still have questions, please contact the CBSA by sending an email to [email protected] and adding “Bulletin 5409” as a subject line, or via webform contact us, select the "Financial account activities" option and reference Bulletin 5409.
