The CBSA has posted the following message on the CARM Client Portal homepage regarding LAPs issued on the May stat holiday:

Late Accounting Penalties

Please note we have encountered an issue with late accounting penalties being issued in error. We are currently cancelling those issued May 19, 2026, please refrain from appealing. Erroneous LAPs may be issued between May 20-26, 2026, but will reflect zero dollars ($0.00). Thank you for your patience and understanding.
