CBSA - Initiation of an Investigation regarding certain Wheat Gluten / ASFC - Ouverture d’enquête à l'égard de certains gluten de blé

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today initiated an investigation under the Special Import Measures Act respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain wheat gluten from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania. The investigation follows a complaint filed by ADM Agri-Industries Co. 

The goods in question are usually classified under the following tariff classification numbers:

1109.00.10.00 1109.00.20.00  

Additional information about the investigation is contained in a Statement of Reasons which will be available within 15 days on the CBSA’s website at: www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima-lmsi/menu-eng.html.

L’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) a ouvert aujourd’hui une enquête en vertu de la Loi sur les mesures spéciales d’importation concernant le présumé dumping de certains gluten de blé d’Allemagne, d’Australie, d’Autriche, de Belgique, de France et de la Lituanie. L’enquête a été ouverte à la suite d’une plainte déposée par ADM Agri-Industries Co. 

Les marchandises en cause sont habituellement classés sous les numéros de classement tarifaire suivants :

1109.00.10.00 1109.00.20.00
