CBSA Message (TCC19-113): Delay in Document Image Functionality (DIF) and PGA decision Processing

Clients affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) and Document Image Functionality (DIF)

There is currently a delay for clients that are submitting Integrated Import Declaration (IID) and the Document Image Functionality (DIF). As a result of this delay, Participating Government Agencies (PGA) may experience delays in processing the Integrated Import Declaration (IID). 

Please note, the CBSA is able to process all other release service options. 

We are working to resolve this problem and will update this message as soon as more information is available. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

For urgent transactions, please proceed with legacy Service Options OGD PARS (service option 463) / OGD RMD (service option 471) or with paper release request.

Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 ET Call the hotline for technical assistance and problems regarding the submission of trade data, e.g. reject messages, via EDI or eManifest Portal. eMail support is also available for EDI applications, testing and general inquiries at the emails outlined below.

After Hours: Weekdays 17:00 – 08:00 ET Saturday, Sunday and all civic and statutory holidays – 24/7 Call the hotline for urgent technical assistance. When calling the hotline, leave a detailed message and an officer will return your call.
