CBSA Message: TCC20-134 - REMINDER: Decommissioning of the Single Window, Integrated Import Declaration – Version 4.00

REMINDER:

Effective November 1, 2020, clients will longer be able to submit version 4.00 of the Integrated Import Declaration (IID). On this date, the default IID version code will become 4.01, which aligns with ECCRD Addendum v1.1 (published October 2019).

Submission of version 4.00 IIDs after November 1, 2020 will be rejected.

To utilize the changes in Addendum v1.1, IID clients must include IID version code 4.01 in element 0068 of the UNH message header:

Use this field to provide a code indicating the most recent ECCRD version that this transaction was produced in accordance with.

          4.00   This IID message is aligned with v4.0 of the SWI ECCRD (published April 2017)

          4.01   This IID message is aligned with the SWI ECCRD Addendum v1.1 (published October 2019)

Note: If this element is omitted, the current production version (4.01) will be added to the message by default.
