Description

Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 05:00 to 06:00 (ET) and Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET): eManifest Portal users will not be able to view or update business account details, or register new business accounts

Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 06:30 to 07:30 (ET) and  Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 06:00 to 07:00 (ET): eManifest Portal users may experience forced re-logon. Portal users will still be able to create and submit all trade documents and update user accesses

Please refer to the contingency procedures outlined below or be prepared to resume transmission once the system is available.

For highway carriers, if you are proceeding to the border during this outage, please ensure all drivers are provided with the correct paperwork to present at arrival. The CBSA will accept paper documentation during an outage and no AMPS penalties will be issued for ACI related infractions resulting from this outage.

Saturday  December 12, 2020 from 06:30 to 07:30 (ET) and Sunday  December 13, 2020 from 06:00 to 07:00 (ET) CERS Portal users may experience forced re-logon. Portal users will still be able to create and submit all trade documents and update user accesses.

Should the CERS portal prevent you from submitting your declaration during a system outage, please refer to the contingency procedures outlined below or be prepared to resume transmission once the system is available.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Maintenance

Description

For maintenance purposes, there will be an outage for clients who transmit trade data using EDI between 04:30 ET and 06:00 ET AND between 07:00 ET and 08:30 ET on Sunday  December 13, 2020. During this outage, the CBSA will be unable to receive all incoming data or send outbound messages such as acknowledgements, reject messages and notices E.g. RNS, Completeness through the Direct Connect connections.

All importers and brokers who submit their B3s and AO notification of release queries using the CCS/CADEX system

Description

Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 05:00 to 06:00 (ET) and Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 05:00 to 05:30 (ET): the CCS/CADEX system will be unavailable.

CADEX, Customs Declaration Message (CUSDEC) B3s and AO notification of release queries transmitted to the CADEX system will be affected by this outage.

Action Required

Please be prepared to resume transmission once the system is available
