CBSA Message: TCC21-020 – RESOLVED - WACM, eHouse Bill and CCN "Request in History" reject

The problem reported below is resolved. All systems are functioning normally.  Please see the section Action Required below.

Clients Affected: All warehouse operators, freight forwarders and carriers who transmit WACM and/or Cargo data using EDI and/or Portal.

An issue has been discovered by CBSA which impacts Warehouse Arrival Certificate Messages (WACM) and as well as when CBSA receives changes and/or amendments related to electronic House Bills and cargo control number (CCN).

Warehouse operators may receive the following message when submitting a WACM:

  • Error code 68 – Request in History

Freight forwarders and carriers may receive the following error message when submitting a change or amendment to their electronic House Bill and/or CCN.

  • Error code 68 – Request in History

We are working to resolve this problem and will update this message as soon as more information is available. We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Action Required: 

Action required by warehouse operators, freight forwarders and carriers:

Please note, clients will be required to re-transmit the WACMs, House Bill and Cargo Control Number that were rejected due to the “Request in History” reject.
