 SIMA – Preliminary decision respecting wheat gluten from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, and Lithuania

The preliminary phase of the investigation is now complete. The evidence available to the CBSA indicates that wheat gluten originating in or exported from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania have been dumped. Therefore, on December 23, 2020, the CBSA made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting these goods pursuant to subsection 38(1) of SIMA.

Provisional duties will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from the CBSA on or after December 23, 2020.

Additional information about this investigation is contained in the Statement of Reasons, which will be available within 15 days on the CBSA’s website at: www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/sima.

LMSI – Décision provisoire concernant le gluten de blé d’Allemagne, Australie, Autriche, Belgique, France et Lituanie

La phase préliminaire de l’enquête est maintenant terminée. Les preuves dont dispose l’ASFC indiquent qu’il y a eu dumping du gluten de blé originaire ou exporté d’Allemagne, Australie, Autriche, Belgique, France et Lituanie. Conformément au paragraphe 38(1) de la LMSI, le 23 décembre 2020, l’ASFC a rendu un décision provisoire de dumping concernant ces marchandises en cause.

Des droits provisoires seront maintenant exigibles sur les marchandises en cause dédouanées auprès de l’ASFC à compter du 23 décembre 2020.
