Notice to Industry – Certification of logs originating in the United States to China

As of 3 March 2025, China suspended the import of logs of all species from the United States (US). As such, reexport of logs originating in the US from Canada to China is also suspended. Therefore, no phytosanitary certificates will be issued for US logs to China.

All other wood products including lumber are unaffected.

À partir du 3 mars 2025, la Chine a suspendu l’importation de billes de toutes les espèces en provenance des États-Unis. Par conséquent, la réexportation de billes originaires des États-Unis à partir du Canada vers la Chine est aussi suspendue. Par conséquent, aucun certificat phytosanitaire ne sera délivré pour des billes des États-Unis vers la Chine.

Les autres produits de bois incluant le bois scié ne sont pas affectés.
