CFIA-AIRS Updates, 24 July

A) Chapter 01 was published to:

i) add the following OGD extensions.

01.06.39.2106.09 – Roadrunner
01.06.39.2107.09 – Roadrunner 

ii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Breeding”, “Feeding for slaughter”, “Other end uses” and “Temporary stay in Canada” originating from the United States.

01.06.31 - Birds of prey. 
01.06.39.2096 - Songbirds over 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)). 
01.06.39.2097 - Songbirds less than 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)). 
01.06.39.2106 - Other birds over 3 days old. 
01.06.39.2107 - Other birds less than 3 days old.

B) Chapter 07 was published to remove the following OGD extensions:

07.01.90.3000.01 - Potatoes, round type (fresh or chilled). 
07.01.90.3000.02 - Potatoes, long type (fresh or chilled). 
07.01.90.3001.01 - Potatoes, round type - (fresh or chilled) - Organic. 
07.01.90.3001.02 - Potatoes, long type - (fresh or chilled) - Organic.
