CFIA-AIRS Updates December 10th, 2020

A) Chapter 01 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse Entry” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Breeding”, “Feeding for slaughter”, “Immediate slaughter”, “Other end uses” and “Temporary stay in Canada” originating from Belgium, Denmark, Hungary and Ireland.

01.05.12.1012 - Less than 3 days old.

ii) modify the import conditions for the following HS code with the end uses “Breeding”, “Feeding for slaughter”, “Immediate slaughter”, “Other end uses” and “Temporary stay in Canada” originating from the United Kingdom.

iii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Breeding”, “Feeding for slaughter”, “Immediate slaughter”, “Other end uses” and “Temporary stay in Canada” originating from Austria, Germany, France and Netherlands.

01.05.12.1012 - Less than 3 days old.

B) Chapter 05 was published to modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Breeding” and “Other end uses” originating from Finland. NO VERSION CHANGE.

05.11.99.1292.15 - Animal semen (other than bovine) - fresh - Porcine (pig).
05.11.99.1293.15 - Animal semen (other than bovine) - frozen - Porcine (pig).

C) Chapter 23 was published to add the following OGD extensions.
