A) Chapter 04

Chapter 04 was published to:

i) modify the import conditions of the following HS codes with the end use “Human consumption” originating from Countries evaluated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for export of animal products and by-products to Canada – inspection.canada.ca except the United States:

04.07.90.0294 – Other species
04.08.11.0274 – Egg yolk from avian species other than chickens (Gallus domesticus) and turkeys
04.08.19.0276 – Egg yolk from avian species other than chickens (Gallus domesticus) and turkeys
04.08.91.0278 – Containing 100% egg products from avian species other than chickens (Gallus domesticus) and turkeys
04.08.99.0281 – Containing 100% pasteurized eggs from avian species other than chickens (Gallus domesticus) and/or turkeys

viii) change the release recommendation to “Refuse entry” for the following HS codes with the end use “Livestock feed” originating from countries that are not evaluated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for export of animal products and by-products to Canada:

Chapter 05 was published to add the following OGD extensions:

Chapter 08 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS code with the end uses “Samples for testing”, “Show or exhibition” and “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from Australia:

08.08.40.4004.02 – Quinces (fresh). (Cydonia oblonga) – Organic.

ii) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS code with the end uses “Samples for testing”, “Show or exhibition” and “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from New Zealand destined to British Columbia:
