A) Chapter 05 was published to change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA - NISC” for the following HS codes originating from the United States.
 
05.05.10.1258 - Unprocessed feathers, quills or plumes
05.05.90.1258 - Unprocessed feathers or plumes
05.11.99.1297.01 - Whole carcass or body parts, preserved in formaldehyde or other preserving solution, or unpreserved, not suitable for human consumption, not elsewhere specified or included - Avian (bird)
05.11.99.1298.01 - Laboratory or tissue samples, fresh, frozen or fixed - Avian (bird)
05.11.99.1299.09 - Cell lines - Avian (bird)
05.11.99.1302.05 - Animal tissues, fluids or manure on DNA or RNA preservation cards - Avian (bird)

B) Chapter 30 was published to change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA - NISC” for the following HS codes originating from the United States.
 
30.01.90.1673.07 - Dried duck gizzard lining
30.01.90.1673.10 - Chicken embryo extract
30.01.90.1676.06 - Dried chicken feet
30.01.90.1676.10 - Essence of chicken (pan lan she liquid)
30.02.12.1095.02 - Blood, serum, plasma or derivatives for in vitro use - avian
