A) Foot-Mouth Disease (FMD) instruction update

The Foot-Mouth Disease (FMD) instruction has been updated in the Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) for commodities originating from Germany. The affected commodities remain the same, as previously indicated on, January 13, 2025, and can be found in the following link: Foot and Mouth Disease – Disease Freedom. The changes applied can be found in, but are not limited to, the following chapters: 02, 05, 07, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23, 30, 31, 41, 51.

B) Chapter 06

Chapter 06 was published to:

i) add the miscellaneous code “With growing media that is free of soil and related matter (CGMP)” to the following HS code with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” originating from all countries with the exception of the United States, China and Hong Kong:

06.02.90.0030.90 – Other propagative material – rooted plants, miscellaneous

ii) add the miscellaneous code “With growing media that is free of soil and related matter (CGMP)” to the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” originating from the Netherlands: 

06.02.90.0023.07 – Spruce – rooted plants (Other Picea spp. than Picea polita and Picea jezoensis)
06.02.90.0023.68 – Tiger-tail spruce – rooted plants (Picea polita)
06.02.90.0023.69 – Yeddo spruce – rooted plants (Picea jezoensis)

Mises à jour ACIA-SARI le 30 janvier 2025

A) Mise à jour de l’instruction reliée à la fièvre aphteuse

L’instruction concernant la fièvre aphteuse a été mise à jour dans le Système automatisé de référence à l’importation (SARI) pour des produits en provenance de l’Allemagne. Les produits visés demeurent les mêmes que ceux indiqués dans le message initial du 13 janvier 2025, et peuvent être retrouvés en cliquant sur le lien suivant: Fièvre aphteuse – Pays indemnes de la maladie. Les modifications appliquées se trouvent notamment dans les chapitres suivants: 02, 05, 07, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23, 30, 31, 41, 51.

B) Chapitre 06

Le chapitre 06 a été publié pour :

i) ajouter le code divers « Avec milieu de culture sans particule de sol et matière connexe (PCMC) » au code SH suivant avec l’usage final « Multiplication (croissance ou ensemencement) » en provenance de tous les pays à l’exception des États-Unis, Chine et Hong Kong : 

06.02.90.0030.90 – Autre matériel de multiplication – plantes racinées, divers

ii) ajouter le code divers « Avec milieu de culture sans particule de sol et matière connexe (PCMC) » aux codes SH suivants avec l’usage final « Multiplication (croissance ou ensemencement) » en provenance des Pays-Bas : 

06.02.90.0023.07 – Épinette – plantes racinées (D’autre Picea spp. que Picea polita et Picea jezoensis)
06.02.90.0023.68 – Épinette du Japon – plantes racinées (Picea polita)
06.02.90.0023.69 – Épinette de Hondo – plantes racinées (Picea jezoensis)
