CFIA-AIRS Updates October 13th 2020

Chapter 07 was published to change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” and modify the registration type list for the following HS codes with the end uses “Human Consumption” and “Further Processing” originating from the United States except the state of California.

07.05.19.3028.10 - Romaine lettuce  
07.05.19.3028.11 - Romaine lettuce  - Organic.

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

07.05.19.3025.01 - Asian lettuce (fresh or chilled).
07.05.19.3025.10 - Asian lettuce - (fresh or chilled) - Organic.
07.05.19.3028.98 - Other lettuce - Organic.
07.05.19.3028.99 - Other lettuce.

Please verify your version numbers before submitting through EDI.
