A) Chapter 05 was published to :

i) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “CBSA inspection” for the following HS codes originating from Brazil.

05.11.99.1296.03 - Bovine (cattle) - dairy.
05.11.99.1296.04 - Bovine (cattle) - beef.

This created requirement version change for the same HS codes originating from South Africa, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

ii) add the following OGD extension.

05.11.99.1062 - Insect flours and meals.

iii) add the end use “Livestock feed” to the following HS code.

05.11.99.1061 - Insects and other organisms (dead).

iv) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes originating from Mexico.

05.11.99.1567.01 - Processed pig ears and tails.
05.11.99.1567.02 - Dried or otherwise processed cattle ears.
05.11.99.1567.03 - Processed pizzles, penises.
05.11.99.1567.04 - Other processed animal parts used as pet chews.
05.11.99.1567.05 - Cow hooves.
05.11.99.1567.07 - Bovine bones.
05.11.99.1567.08 - Porcine bones.

This created a requirement version change for the same HS codes originating from all countries except the United States.

v) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS codes with the end use “Other end uses” originating from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia and Slovakia.

05.05.90.1260 - Feather meal.
05.06.90.1273.04 - Porcine bone meal.
05.11 99.1995.10 - Porcine meat meal, meat and bone meal.
05.11 99.1995.16 - Poultry meal, including blood meal, spray dried poultry digest.

This created a requirement version change for the same HS codes originating from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands Romania, Spain and United Kingdom.

vi) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Aquaculture feed”, “Livestock feed” and “Pet food manufacturing” originating from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom.

vii) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end use “Livestock feed” originating from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom.

05.11.99.1995.11 - Porcine blood meal
05.11.99.1995.12 - Porcine dried, bulk blood or plasma

B) Chapter 06 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Approved” for the following HS code with the end use “Other end uses” and the miscellaneous codes “Not entering Canada through British Columbia” and “Entering Canada through British Columbia” originating from the state of California destined to all provinces except British Columbia.

06.04.20.0046.30 - Foliage, branches - Fresh - Eucalyptus (Other Eucalyptus spp.).

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

06.04.20.0045.54 - Foliage, branches - Fresh - Wattle (Acacia spp.).
06.04.20.0045.59 - Foliage, branches - Fresh - Alder (Alnus spp.).
06.04.20.0045.65 - Foliage, branches - Fresh - Camellia (Camellia spp.).
06.04.20.0045.76 - Foliage, branches - Fresh - Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster spp.).

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.
