CFIA-AIRS Updates October 26th 2020

Chapter 01 was published to:

i) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech  Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

01.06.32 - Psittaciformes (including parrots, parakeets, macaws and cockatoos). 
01.06.39.2096 - Songbirds over 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)). 
01.06.39.2097 - Songbirds less than 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)). 
01.06.39.2106.06 - Toucans. 
01.06.39.2107.06 - Toucans.

ii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end use “Immediate slaughter” originating from the United States.

01.05.11.1011 - Over 3 days old. 
01.05.11.1012 - Less than 3 days old. 
01.05.12.1011 - Over 3 days old. 
01.05.12.1012 - Less than 3 days old. 
01.05.15.1020 - Over 3 days old. 
01.05.15.1021 - Less than 3 days old. 
01.05.94 - Fowls of the species Gallus domesticus. 
01.05.99.1015 - Turkeys. 
01.06.39.2090 - Game birds other than guinea fowl over 3 days old. 
01.06.39.2091 - Game birds other than guinea fowl less than 3 days old.
