Chapter 97 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA – NISC” to “Approved” for the following HS codes with the end use “Other end uses” originating from the United States:
97.05.22.1990.11 – Extinct or endangered animals, whole carcass or body parts, taxidermy preserved
97.05.22.1990.12 – Extinct or endangered animals, whole carcass or body parts, other than taxidermy preserved
97.05.29.1990 – Whole carcass or body parts, taxidermy preserved
97.05.29.1992 – Horns, hooves, claws or beaks, preserved for display
97.05.29.1993 – Decorative eggshells
97.05.29.1995 – Ancient or antique items of animal origin, not fixed or taxidermy preserved

97.05.22.1990.12 – Animaux éteints ou menacés d’extinction, carcasse entière ou parties du corps, autres que préparés par un taxidermiste
97.05.29.1990 – Carcasse entière ou parties du corps, préservées pour la taxidermie
97.05.29.1992 – Cornes, sabots, ongles ou becs conservés pour être exposés
97.05.29.1993 – Coquilles d’œufs décoratives
97.05.29.1995 – Objets anciens ou antiques d’origine animale non fixés ou préservés pour la taxidermie
