A) Chapter 01

Chapter 01 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS codes with the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from Norway:

B) Chapter 06

Chapter 06 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” and the miscellaneous code “Without soil, related matter or growing media” originating from Denmark: 

06.02.10.0022.85 – Hibiscus – Unrooted plants (Hibiscus spp.).
06.02.90.0031.99 – Hibiscus – Rooted plants (Hibiscus spp.).

ii) add the miscellaneous code “Without soil, related matter or growing media” to the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” originating from Germany:

06.01.10.0002.01 – Ornamental flowers (bulbs) – dormant.
06.01.10.0002.04 – Lilium spp. (other than L. formosanum) (Bulb) – dormant (lily).
06.01.10.0002.06 – Hippeastrum spp. (bulb) – dormant (common name Amaryllis).
06.01.10.0002.99 – Other ornamental bulbs – dormant.

iii) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Approved” for the following HS code with the end use “Other end uses” :

06.04.20.0045.53 – Palm leaf, palm frond – fresh.
