Chapter 28 was published to:
i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse Entry” for the following HS code originating from all countries except Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Uruguay.
28.35.25.1002.02 – Bovine (cattle)
ii) remove the end use “Animal feed” from the following HS codes originating from all countries:
28.35.25.1001 – Dicalcium phosphate with no trace of protein or fat
28.35.25.1002 – Dicalcium phosphate with traces of protein and/or fat
iii) modify the import conditions of the following HS codes with the end uses “Industrial use (i.e. is not commercial use)”, “Other end uses”, “Samples for testing”, and “Scientific use (Research)” originating from all countries:
28.35.25.1001 – Dicalcium phosphate with no trace of protein or fat
28.35.25.1002 – Dicalcium phosphate with traces of protein and/or fat
