A) Chapter 07

Chapter 07 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Human consumption” and “Further processing” and the miscellaneous codes “Without soil” and “Rooted, grown in soil-free media” originating from the United States:

07.05.19.3028.10 – Romaine lettuce
07.05.19.3028.11 – Romaine lettuce – Organic.

ii) modify the import conditions and registration type list of the following HS codes with the end uses “Human consumption” and “Further processing” and the miscellaneous code “ With soil or related matter (including growing media not approved under the CGMP)” originating from the United States:

07.05.19.3028.10 – Romaine lettuce
07.05.19.3028.11 – Romaine lettuce – Organic.

iii) change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes with the end use “Human consumption” originating from the United States:

07.05.19.3002 – Vegetable preparations containing less than 50% egg products.
07.05.19.3030 – Vegetable preparations – containing less than 50% egg products – Organic.

iv) modify the import conditions and the registration type list of the following HS codes with the end use “Human consumption” originating from the United States:

07.05.19.3001 – Vegetable preparations with more than 2% but less than 20% meat.
07.05.19.3003 – Vegetable preparations containing 50% or more egg products.
07.05.19.3029 – Vegetable preparations – with more than 2% but less than 20% meat – Organic.
07.05.19.3031 – Vegetable preparations – containing 50% or more egg products – Organic.

B) Chapter 20

Chapter 20 was published to change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS code with the end use “Human consumption” originating from the United States:

20.05.99.7271 – Other salads
