CFIA cancels three Safe Food for Canadians Licences

Today, after a thorough and comprehensive review, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) cancelled three Safe Food for Canadian licences. The decision was made after the Agency identified during a food safety investigation that they had received false or misleading information from the licence holders concerning E. coli lab results. Effective immediately, the following licenses have been cancelled:

Safe Food for Canadians Licence #3WYHVFPD of Ryding-Regency Meat Packers LTD.
Safe Food for Canadians Licence #6NTLWYHV of Canadian Select Meats Inc. (operating under St. Ann's Foods Inc.)
Safe Food for Canadians Licence #8HMG4GLC of The Beef Boutique LTD. (operating under St. Ann's Foods Inc.)
