CFIA Delay in processing - Update

March 27, 2013

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Digital Document Store (DDS) are fully functional. Please note there is a delay (6 to 7 hour) in processing transactions.

During this time clients are instructed to:

continue to send requests to (613) 773-9999
do not fax documents more than once, only resubmit transactions when advised by NISC
do not resubmit EDI transactions, only resubmit transactions when advised by NISC

National Import Service Centre (NISC) will continue to process requests.

We regret the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
