CFIA October licence validation report posting

CFIA has provided the CSCB with the Safe Food for Canadians licence validation report for the month of October. They have indicated that the trends are encouraging, with the number of transactions with a valid SFC licence is now almost 90%.

The commodities with the lowest compliance continue to be: honey, maple, dairy products and processed products. CFIA is continuing to discuss how best to reach these licence holders.
