CFIA Responding to Today, Building for the Future - Progress Report

In 2017, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency launched a framework called Responding to Today, Building for the Future (RTBF) to guide the work of the Agency. The RTBF Progress Report 2018 outlines the work done over the past year and where the Agency is headed.

We invite you to read the Progress Report and learn how the Agency’s work continues to ensure food safety and plant and animal health while supporting industry to be more innovative and helping businesses compete in a global market.

In the coming weeks we will share with you our ‘Key Strategic Initiatives - Milestones at a Glance’ document that provides a detailed timeline of where we are in the planning and implementation of our key strategic initiatives.

Risks continue to change and we will continue to adapt but the road ahead also offers new opportunities. As we evolve, we want industry and our partners to share their views with us so send your feedback, questions, or comments to [email protected].
