CN 26-19: Highway Sufferance Warehouse Closure (St-Cesaire, Quebec)

1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that:

  • effective August 10, 2026 the company located at 2500, chemin St-François, St-Cesaire, Quebec has surrendered their “BW” type highway sufferance warehouse license.
  • the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has decided not to advertise for a new highway sufferance warehouse at this port.

2. As such, effective August 10, 2026 all bonded highway carriers transporting commercial freight for clearance at St-Cesaire, Quebec, port of entry will have to declare at another highway sufferance warehouse.

Avis des douanes 26-19 : Fermeture d’entrepôt d’attente routier (St-Césaire, Québec)

1. L’objectif de cet avis est de vous informer :

  • qu’à partir du 10 août 2026, l’entrepôt d’attente situé au 2500, chemin St-François, St-Césaire, Québec, a abandonné son agrément pour l’exploitation d’un entrepôt d’attente routier de catégorie « BW » ;
  • que l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) du Canada a pris la décision de ne pas procéder à un appel d’offres pour un nouvel entrepôt d’attente routier à ce point d’entrée.

2. Par conséquent, veuillez noter qu’à partir du 10 août 2026, tous les transporteurs routiers cautionnés transportant de la marchandise commerciale pour dédouanement à St-Césaire, Québec devront effectuer leur déclaration à un autre entrepôt d’attente routier aux fins de mainlevée.
