Representatives from CSCB National Office were pleased to meet in person with members of the CSCB’s Toronto Regional Committee on September 17. President Janine Harker and Vice-President Michelle Stokes joined the committee's regular meeting to discuss the future of regional engagement, and the important role regional committees continue to play in supporting CSCB members.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss recent developments affecting regional committee participation, and gather valuable feedback from one of CSCB's most active regional committees. The Toronto Regional Committee's experience offer important insights as the CSCB continues to strengthen and support its regional committee network.
We would like to thank the Toronto Regional Committee members for their engagement, thoughtful contributions, and ongoing commitment to the customs brokerage community. It was a great meeting, and we look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to further enhance meaningful regional engagement opportunities for CSCB members across the country.
The CSCB is also looking forward to meeting with the Quebec Regional Committee on October 8th and the BC Regional Committee in November. Discussions are also underway regarding a meeting with the Prairie Regional Committee.
In addition, the CSCB will be reaching out to interested members in Atlantic Canada to explore opportunities to re-engage the Atlantic Regional Committee.
Together, these conversations will help strengthen connections across our regional committees, encourage the sharing of ideas and best practices, and ensure member perspectives continue to help shape CSCB initiatives nationwide.
