CSCB’s commitment to Members and Education

In addition to our own rich educational courses, the CSCB has a long history of providing financial support to students connected to a CSCB member firm with the CSCB scholarship program. We are so pleased to announce that this support from the CSCB will again be offered in 2023.

If you know a student who is a child, stepchild, grandchild or person under the legal guardianship of an individual employed by a CSCB member firm, we are pleased to offer three opportunities for a CSCB scholarship, each in the amount of $3500. In fact, if you are employed by a CSCB member firm and considering opportunities for continuing your own education at a college or university, you may be eligible too!

Two CSCB scholarships will be awarded to students entering any accredited Canadian college or university program. These scholarships are awarded based on academic results and other achievements, experiences and personal goals. The third CSCB scholarship will be awarded to a student returning to any accredited Canadian college or university program for their second, third or fourth year, based on academic performance as well as other achievements, experiences and personal goals.

The CSCB scholarship applications will be available on our website from June 5 until July 28, 2023 at 14:00 EDT.  Those selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by no later than August 18, 2023. The CSCB Scholarship Committee looks forward to seeing applications from outstanding candidates across Canada, and wishes all applicants much success in the future.
