CUPW to vote on Canada Post’s ‘final’ offers starting July 21, company says

In the June 12 Trade News article "Federal government to put latest Canada Post offer up for union vote" we shared that Federal Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu would direct the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to hold a vote for members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), so union members could decide on Canada Post's final offers for collective agreements, as soon as possible.

On July 16, 2025, the CIRB provided the parties with a Notice of Vote. CUPW's 53,000 members voting will begin on July 21 at 7 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) and close Aug, 1 at 5 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time).
