The following is a clarification from CBSA's Border Commercial Consultative Committees (BCCC) Secretariat.
Please note that on November 13, 2025, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) amended Customs Notice 18-27: Regulatory Amendments and New Regulations Related to the Implementation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), originally published on December 27, 2018.
The original CPTPP customs notice stated that there was an amendment to section 4 of the Exporters’ and Producers’ Records Regulations, which affects producers. The customs notice should have stated that both sections 3 and 4 were being amended, with section 3 affecting exporters.
All other regulatory changes and new regulations announced in this notice remain effective as of December 30, 2018.
Veuillez noter que le 13 novembre 2025, l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) a modifié l’Avis des douanes 18-27 : Modifications réglementaires et nouveaux règlements liés à la mise en œuvre de l’Accord de partenariat transpacifique global et progressiste (PTPGP), publié initialement le 27 décembre 2018.
L’avis des douanes initial relatif au PTPGP indiquait qu’une modification avait été apportée à l’article 4 du Règlement sur les documents de l’exportateur et du producteur, ce qui affectait les producteurs. L’avis aurait dû préciser que les articles 3 et 4 étaient tous deux modifiés, l’article 3 affectant les exportateurs.
Toutes les autres modifications réglementaires et les nouveaux règlements annoncés dans le présent avis demeurent en vigueur à compter du 30 décembre 2018.
