Customs Notice 26-06: Highway Sufferance Warehouse Advertisement (Hamilton, Ontario)

1. The CBSA is inviting applications for a licence to operate a public “bw” type highway sufferance warehouse under the authority of the Hamilton CBSA office.

2. The successful applicant must provide a warehouse facility that meets the requirements of the Customs Sufferance Warehouses Regulations and operate the facility as a public sufferance warehouse to store in-bond goods.

3. With the release of the CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system, applicants must submit a complete application through the CARM Client Portal (CCP). For more information on applying to operate a sufferance warehouse in Canada, please see Memorandum D4-1-4: Customs Sufferance Warehouses.

4. Applications must be received no later than 14 calendar days after the publication date of this notice. Please direct any questions concerning this notice to:
