D-24-01 consultation: phytosanitary requirements for spotted lanternfly

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is seeking feedback on a new directive D-24-01: Spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) – domestic and import phytosanitary requirements. The directive outlines phytosanitary requirements to prevent the importation and spread of spotted lanternfly including specific domestic and import requirements for nursery stock and logs of deciduous species with bark.

Consultation D-24-01 : exigences phytosanitaires pour lutter contre le fulgore tacheté

L’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) sollicite des commentaires sur une nouvelle directive proposée, soit la directive D-24-01 : Fulgore tacheté (Lycorma delicatula) – exigences phytosanitaires en territoire canadien et d'importation. Cette nouvelle directive énonce les exigences phytosanitaires visant à empêcher l’introduction et la propagation du fulgore tacheté, notamment des exigences spécifiques à l’importation et en territoire canadien régissant le matériel de pépinière et les billes de bois d’espèces à feuilles caduques avec écorce.
