This memorandum outlines and explains the legislation, regulations and general guidelines that apply to the importation of vehicles.

This memorandum has been updated to:
a) clarify how vehicles are processed using Single Window Initiative (SWI) Integrated Import Declaration (IID) (service option (SO) 911); and,
b) to make some housekeeping corrections.
