EU votes to approve retaliatory tariffs on $23B USD

The European Union member states have voted to approve retaliatory tariffs on $23 billion US in goods in response to 25% tariffs on imported steel and aluminum, imposed by the United States.

These retaliatory tariffs are expected to be enacted in stages with dates set for April 15, May 15 and December 1, 2025.
