Government of Canada to release Budget 2026 on November‎ 5

Today, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, announced that he will table Budget 2026 on November 5, 2026.

Budget 2026 will build on action the government has already taken to lower costs, unlock investment and build a stronger Canadian economy. These actions range from providing relief on groceries and fuel and helping Canadians make energy-saving home retrofits, to lowering the cost of new housing, advancing major nation-building projects and introducing a new Productivity Mega Deduction to spur business investment.
