HPAI restrictions lifted for Argentina

Please be advised that import restrictions due to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in Argentina have been lifted. Raw/unprocessed meat or products from birds slaughtered between February 23, 2026 and April 27, 2026 are not eligible for import into Canada.

Please consult Highly pathogenic avian influenza: countries officially recognized by Canada as being free of the disease for further information.

Veuillez noter que les restrictions d’importation liées à l’épidémie d’influenza aviaire hautement en Argentine ont été levées. Les expéditions de viande ou de produits crus/non transformés abattus entre le 23 février 2026 et le 27 avril 2026 ne sont pas admissible à l’importation au Canada.
