Last Chance to Register for the TO/ON Regional Conference!

Registration for the 2018 CSCB Toronto/Ontario Regions Annual Conference closes tomorrow!

The conference is being held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at The Westin Trillium House in Blue Mountain!

Here are the highlights of the conference:

  • The CSCB Chair Angela Collins and CSCB President Carol West will be discussing the latest developments on the IID, eCommerce, and Customs Broker regulation.

  • CBSA’s GTA and Southern Ontario Regions representatives will be providing us with commercial and trade updates. They are: from the Toronto Commercial Operations Division: Director Aiesha Zafar and Superintendent Mathew Martin, from the Toronto Trade Operations Division: Director Jeanie Chow, Assistant Director Trade Governance Danny Rinaldi, Assistant Director Simone Haughton, and from the Hamilton Trade Operations Division: Manager Trade Governance Deepa Jani.

  • Jesse Goldman of Bennett Jones LLP will talk to us about the Customs Act, Trade Agreements and other governing legislation.

  • We will also be looking at the Single Window Initiative and what needs to happen in the time remaining.
