Message to Industry - Requirement to provide Manufacturer (MID) and Importer of Record (IOR) Information

On May 15, 2025, Global Affairs Canada issued the Message to Industry - Requirement to provide Manufacturer (MID) and Importer of Record (IOR) Information reminding exporters of the following:

Starting February 16th, 2025, when applying for export permits for products to be exported to the United States under the WTO and CUSMA Sugar-Containing Product Tariff Rate Quotas, applicants will be required to provide the Manufacturer (MID) and Importer of Record (IOR) information.
