Minor update to Labelling requirements for fresh fruits or vegetables

Please be advised that changes have been made to the Exemptions from the SFCR labelling requirements section of the Labelling requirements for fresh fruits or vegetables page of the Industry Labelling Tool. Additional information has been added to clarify the following: when a tag is added to a fresh fruit or vegetable with a wrapper or confining band of less than 13 mm, the food loses its exemption from the labelling requirements of the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations

Veuillez noter que des modifications ont été apportées à la section « Exemptions des exigences d'étiquetage du RSAC » de la page « Exigences en matière d'étiquetage des fruits ou légumes frais » de l'Outil d'étiquetage pour l'industrie. Des précisions ont été ajoutées pour clarifier ce qui suit : lorsqu’une étiquette mobile est apposée sur un fruit ou légume frais emballé dans une enveloppe ou une bande qui mesure moins de 13 mm, l’aliment perd son exemption des exigences d’étiquetage du Règlement sur la salubrité des aliments au Canada.
