New certificate for the export of aquacultured eviscerated finfish to Brazil

April 15, 2026

Following successful negotiations with Brazil, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is pleased to announce that Canada has gained market access to export aquacultured, eviscerated finfish products (including fillets and steaks) for human consumption to Brazil:

Health Certificate for the Export of Eviscerated Finfish Products from Aquaculture Intended for Human Consumption from Canada to Brazil (AQAH-1113)

The new health certificate can be implemented immediately.

Nouveau certificat pour l’exportation vers le Brésil de poissons éviscérés issus de l’aquaculture

À la suite de négociations fructueuses avec le Brésil, l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) est heureuse d’annoncer que le Canada a obtenu l’accès au marché brésilien pour l’exportation de produits de poissons éviscérés issus de l’aquaculture (y compris les filets et les pavés) destinés à la consommation humaine :

Certificat sanitaire pour l’exportation de produits de poissons éviscérés issus de l’aquaculture et destinés à la consommation humaine du Canada vers le Brésil (AQAH-1113)

Le nouveau certificat sanitaire peut être mis en œuvre immédiatement.
