Please be advised that new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza have been identified in Argentina. Poultry, birds (including pet birds) and certain poultry products originating from Argentina are not permitted for import into Canada.
Products and by-products from birds collected or slaughtered before August 19, 2025 are eligible to enter Canada, but the date of slaughter or collection must appear in the documentation. If there is no date of slaughter or collection on the certificate, then the signature date of the certificate will be used.
Shipments of affected commodities originating from birds originating from Argentina must be accompanied by certification that they were collected or slaughtered prior to August 19, 2025, or else the signature date of the certificate must be prior to August 19, 2025.

Veuillez noter que de nouvelles épidémies de grippe Aviaire Hautement Pathogène ont été signalées en Argentine. Les volailles, les oiseaux (y compris les oiseaux de compagnie) et certains produits de volaille provenant d’Argentine ne sont pas autorisés pour importation au Canada.
Les produits et sous-produits provenant des oiseaux collectés ou abattusavant le 19 août 2025 peuvent entrer au Canada, mais la date d’abattage ou de collection doit figurer dans la documentation. Si aucune date d’abattage ou de collection ne figure pas sur le certificat, la date de signature du certificat sera utilisée.
Les expéditions de produits concernés provenant des oiseaux d’Argentine doivent être accompagnées d’un certificat attestant qu’ils ont été collectés ou abattus avant le 19 août 2025, ou bien la date de signature du certificat doit être antérieure au 19 août 2025.
