New restrictions due to HPAI in Chile

Please be advised that a new outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza has been identified in Chile. Poultry, birds (including pet birds) and certain poultry products originating from the restricted zone are not permitted for import into Canada. Poultry products originating from outside the restricted zone can continue to be imported as usual.

Nouvelles restrictions en raison de l’IAHP au Chili

Veuillez noter qu’une nouvelle épidémie de grippe aviaire hautement pathogène ont été signalées au Chili. Les volailles, les oiseaux (y compris les oiseaux de compagnie) et certains produits de volaille provenant de la région sous restriction ne sont pas autorisés pour importation au Canada. Les produits avicoles provenant de l’extérieur de la zone réglementée peuvent continuer à être importés comme d’habitude.
