Notice of conclusion of expiry review investigation: Aluminum extrusions (AE 2024 ER)

In November 2024, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review of its order from January 2020, in expiry review RR-2018-008, concerning the dumping and subsidizing of aluminum extrusions originating in or exported from China.

The expiry review investigation has now been completed and on April 24, 2025, it was determined that the expiry of the order:

  1. is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of such goods originating in or exported from China and
  2. is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of subsidizing of such goods originating in or exported from China

A Statement of Reasons will be issued within 15 days.
