Notice of extension of investigations: Steel Strapping (SS 2025 IN)

The Canada Border Services Agency has today extended the preliminary phase of the investigations respecting the alleged injurious dumping of steel strapping originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China (China), the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Türkiye and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the alleged injurious subsidizing of steel strapping originating in or exported from China. 

The preliminary phase has been extended from 90 to 135 days and a decision to issue preliminary determinations or to terminate the investigations will be made on or before September 24, 2025
