February 2, 2026, marks the end of the transition period for importing logs of deciduous species and the beginning of the full implementation of D-24-01: Spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) – Domestic and import phytosanitary requirements.

Details are provided in the notice to industry. Please contact your local CFIA office for more information on the spotted lanternfly program.
