Notice to Industry: Update – United States origin logs to China

On 3 March 2025, China had suspended the import of logs of all species from the United States (US). It now has been confirmed that China will lift the suspension to import logs from the US starting on November 10, 2025. US origin log shipments to China with a departure time and phytosanitary certification issuance on or after November 10, 2025, will be allowed to be imported.

Le 3 mars 2025, la Chine a suspendu l’importation de billes de toutes les espèces en provenance des États-Unis. Il est maintenant confirmé que la Chine lèvera la suspension des importations de billes de bois en provenance des États-Unis à compter du 10 novembre 2025. Les expéditions de billes de bois originaires des États-Unis à destination de la Chine, dont la date de départ et la délivrance du certificat phytosanitaire sont prévues le 10 novembre 2025 ou après, seront à nouveau autorisées à l’importation.
