Notice of initiation of expiry review investigation: Hot-rolled carbon steel plate 6 (PLA6 2025 ER)

On August 5, 2025, we published Trade News article Tribunal Initiates Expiry Review—Hot‑rolled Carbon Steel Plate and High‑strength Low‑alloy Steel Plate from Ukraine. Today, August 6, the the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has initiated an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiry of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of the subject goods. The CBSA will make a determination no later than January 2, 2026, and will issue a Statement of Reasons by January 16, 2026.
