Notice of Intent to Impose Countermeasures in Response to United States Tariffs on Canadian Goods

Today, Canada imposed reciprocal tariffs of 25% against C$30 billion in imports of goods from the United States (U.S.). The federal government is now seeking input on a second round of tariffs against $125 billion in imports of additional goods from the U.S.

This second round of tariff countermeasures would be applied against the U.S. if their Canadian goods tariff is not removed.
